1947 DOT Motortruck 122cc
Price at £6000. The old buff R.F. 60A cardboard logbook records the date of registration as the 10th of May 1950 by the Essex County Council. The DOT, Villiers powered Motortruck & Motorvan tricycles were quite popular just after the war until the late 1950's, with this wonderful nostalgic example originally being part of the Dicky Bird's 'Stop me & buy one' ice cream fleet. Dicky Bird's was based in Barking & their DOT Motortrucks went door to door selling ice cream. They covered South Essex & North London, eventually becoming part of the Lyons group about 1963. This fun machine is a real piece of history & has an original Lyons corked lined Ice Cream box for the ice cream vendor to carry & sell from in crowded areas. Comes with the old buff logbook, a current DVLA V5C registration document, is eligable for free road tax & has the advantage of being MOT exempt.
