1924 BSA S24 3½hp 500cc combination
Priced at £14,750. This magnificent BSA was first registered on the 2nd of August 1924 in Birmingham & is fitted with beautiful period sidecar, which is capable of carrying two passengers by virtue of a dicky seat with plenty of legroom! The outfit came to us from the last Essex owner, who had it on display as a centre piece in the front hall of his house & had purchased it at auction in 2016 (from the previous deceased owners estate). The previous owner to last was a well known character in the VMCC, particularly in the Essex area, & covered quite a few miles on this combination, The motorcycle is fitted with a lovely Bonniksen isochronous speedometer & a basket on the rear carrier, which carries the plenty of tools. Being a vintage flat tanker this fine old side valve BSA is eligible for the Banbury run & other events in this class. History is represented by an old green cardboard logbook, past computerised registration documents & a number of past road tax discs. There are also a number of black & white photographs showing the components of the bike in pieces, auction receipt, photocopy handbook & reprinted spare parts book. Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt.
