1945 Terrot M347 100cc
Priced at £2,250. This delightful French motorcycle is basically a pre-war design. Terrot used these earlier designs to more easily restart post war production. Powered by a two stroke engine, these lightweight bikes helped to get France mobile again. This particular example was imported to the UK in the 1990's, or even earlier & has come to us from the last North Essex owner who had purchased it in 1999 from a gentleman in the same area. The last owner had the engine rebuilt in 2005 by Peter Morris of Colchester, with parts supplied by a French company (recommended by the Terrot Club) & even going so far as to have a piston specially made by them! There are invoices/receipts for parts & labour. Has a file of information, including information on the machine & a workshop manual. He reluctantly sold the Terrot to help his son with his interest in British bikes. We are currently obtaining dating information which will allow for the DVLA to be able to issue a new V5C registration document with an age related number. The bike will be eligible for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & will be MOT exempt.
