1929 Scott Super Squirrel Two Speeder 500cc
Priced at SOLD. We are pleased to be able to offer this lovely vintage Scott on behalf of a good customer of ours who purchased the machine with the engine said to have been done by Ken Lack. This machine has had further rebuild work done during 2015 & the following information has been provided by the owner
The engine proved indeed to be to a very high standard as you would expect from Ken Lack. All of the other work described costs upwards of £3,000 to complete: the narrative describes this is detail and on the basis that this was at "mates rates" you can take it that commercially it would have cost considerably more.
These accompanying detailed notes sets out a full account of the rebuild into a reliable and properly fettled 2 speeder. Thus it is a rider's machine rather than a trailer princess: I am moving away form my 2 stroke collection and on to other things, I have had several Scotts and have not used this latest machine enough - so it has had minimal use since the rebuild and is therefore fresh.
This handsome Scott comes with a pile of very detailed notes (mentioned above) on the rebuild work. Now has the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & the bike is MOT exempt under the pre 1960 rule.
