Priced reduced to SOLD from SOLD. First registered on the 24th of March 1960 in Belfast, this desirable project was in the process of having various modifications & alterations carried out for its conversion to a cafe racer/road racer. Sadly the work was never completed due to the owner passing away. The bike offers great potential, being in need of further work; with the price being reduced to allow for this. When completed this Norton should make a most rewarding motorcycle for the next fortunate owner. The bike has a twin cylinder Domminator 88 500cc engine fitted into a wideline Featherbed frame, with swept back pipes & clip ons, as well as central oil tank, racing seat & large Manx type petrol tank. A small selection of new parts come with the bike, including another twist grip (see last photograph). The engine turns over, the clutch frees & the gears select statically. This bike has history in the form of the original buff cardboard logbook & a later green cardboard registration Book V5 (NI). Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document..
