1958 Triumph 3TA Twenty One 350cc
Priced at SOLD. Registered new by the East Suffolk County Council on the 1st of January 1958 & only two owners from new! A leiston lockup discovery, this bike had been in the hands of the second owner, Ted, in the coastal town of Leiston in Suffolk from January 1962 until he passed away recently. The machine was re-discovered, with a few odd parts detached, when his relatives were sorting out his estate, last road tax disc showing 1968. Andy spent a complete evening wading through the overflowing sheds in the garden (at least the ones he could get to) only finding the primary cover. Hopefully the rear bathtub will appear when the final sheds are reached. We have got the Triumph up & running. She sounds good & the charging functions. A more original motorcycle would be hard to find. Has the original buff cardboard logbook & two past MOT certificates. We are currently in the process of obtaining a new V5C registration document, this Triumph with qualify for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & benefits from being MOT exempt.
